Lost and Found, Painting the Landscape with Brian Rego
When: 9/21 - 9/23
Where: The Flatiron District of Manhattan
In this 3-day workshop, we will paint from the urban-scape of Manhattan. We will use the visual information available to explore four pictorial ideas: 1. the function and placement of form, 2. visual connectivity, 3. chromatic spaces, and 4. the implications of spatial influence. Given that we are limited on time, we can only touch the surface of these ideas; however, the development of these ideas will provide ample opportunities for each painter to grow and find something to build upon.
